INITIAL CRITICALITY Initial criticality was achieved by Crystal River Unit 3 at 0842 a.m.
l on January 14, 1977.
l The control rod configuration and reactor coolant boron concentration were substantially as predicted.
l NRC Region II (Atlanta) received notification of this event by telephone from our inspector at the Crystal River site on Jr.nuary 14, 1977.
