Dear Ms. Kim and Mr. Devine:
This is in partial response to your letter dated July 2,1987, in whict you appealed Mr. Donnie H. Grimsley's form response dated June 11, 1987.
Mr. Grimsley's form response denied five cassette tape recordings subject to your Freedom of Information Act request for documents concerning the Safety Evaluation Report related to the operation of the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant, Units 1 and 2, NUREG-0675, Supplement No. 22.
This response will address one tape recording. Mr. Chilk will respond concerning the other four tape recordings.
Acting on your appeal, I have carefully reviewed the record in this case and have determined that the cassette tape recording identified as NRC interview tape one can now be made publicly available and is enclosed. Your appeal is, therefore, granted.
Sincerely, t
V ctor St o,
r.
xecutive Director for Operations
