Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 2 (TMI-2)
Operating License No. DPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 DOE /NRC Forms 741 and 742 NRC Letter dated July 19, 1987, from Mr. C. E. MacDonald, requested information concerning the proprietary nature of the contents of DOE /NRC Form 741, " Nuclear Material Transaction Report," and DOE /NRC Form 742, " Material Balance Report." The attachment contains the GPU Nuclear response.
The referenced NRC Letter requested that the response be submitted no later than July 24, 1987. Due to an error in the mailing address, the referenced letter was not received by TMI-2 Licensing until July 20, 1987. Pursuant to a telephone discussion between Mr. MacDonald and Mr. R. D. Wells, of my staff, the due date of the response was extended to July 31, 1987.

GPU Nuclear Response The information provided in DOE /NRC Form 742, " Material Balance Report," is docketed and, therefore, is readily available for public disclosure. The DOE /NRC Form 741, " Nuclear Material Transaction Report," is submitted upon shipment of Special Nuclear Material (SNM).. Though the contents of the DOE /NRC Form 741 are not readily available for public disclosure, they may be publicly disc 1osed.
