MAINE YANKEE EQUIPMENT CLASSIFICATION PROGRAM FOR ALL SAFETY RELATED COMP 0NENTS - ITEM 2.1 (PART 1) 0F GENERIC LETTER 83-28 By Generic Letter 83 28 Item 2.1 (Part 1) you were required to confirm that all components whose functioning is required to trip the reactor are identified as safety-related on all plant documentation and in information handling systems that are used to control all activities performed on this safety _related equipment. By letter dated November 10, 1983, in sections responding to items 2.2.1.2 and 2.2.1.3 sufficient information was provided to assure that your program meets the requirements of Item 2.1 (Part 1) of i
Generic Letter 83-28. The evaluation of that information is containe'd in our contractor's (EG&G Idaho, Inc.) report (EG&G-NTA-7645) which is Enclosure 2. is the staff's Safety Evaluation report, which documents our concurrence with the contractor's findings.
By letter dated May 21, 1987 it was stated that the review of your response to Part 2 of Item 2.1 was complete and acceptable, thus Item 2.1 in entirety is considered closed.
