May 4, 1976 PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION OF SAFEGUARDS EVENT PNS-76-16 This preliminary notification constitutes EARLY notice of events of POSSIBLE national security or public interest significance. The information presented is as initially received without verification or evaluation and is basically all that is known by IE staff as of this date.

Subject:
BOMB THREAT A bomb threat was received by telephone at the Stone and Webster switchboard at 8:10 a.m. today. A voice identified as that of an adult male stated that four bombs had been placed on the site and that everybody should be evacuated.
em The second shipment of fuel for Unit I was in transit at the time, and was received with no problems. The' shipment was escorted onto the site
