~b April 13,1978 PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION OF EVENT OR UNUSUAL OCCURRENCE--PNO-78-81 This preliminary notification constitutes EARLY notice of an event of POSSIBLE safety or public interest significance.
The information presented is as initially received without verification or evaluation and is basically all that is known by IE staff on this date.

REPORT OF POSSIBLE OVEREXPOSURE On April 13, 1978, Region I was informed by the licensee that a maintenance worker's March film badge result indicated an exposure of 3.11 Rem which would give that individual a quarterly exposure of 4.47 Rem.
Other dosimeter accumulations for March indicated 0.34 Rem by pocket dosimeter i
The licensee is currently investigating this

This matter will be reviewed during an insipec, tion currently planned for May, 1978.
