DOCKET NO. 50-445 RHR SUCTION AND PRESSURIZER SURGE LINE THERMAL STRATIFICATION DESIGN ANALYSIS AND LEAK-BEFORE-BREAK QUALIFICATION FOR COMANCHE PEAK UNIT 1 Gentlemen:
On February 21, 1989, TV Electric letter logged TXX-89097 provided the NRC with one copy of the overheads used during the February 21, 1989, TU Electric /NRC meeting addressing the proposed resolution to the RHR Suction and Pressurizer Surge Line Thermal Stratification and Leak-Before-Break qualification.
The copy of overheads submitted contained information proprietary to Westinghouse Electric Corporation which TV Electric requested to be withheld from public disclosure.
TXX-89097 indicated that TV Electric would comply with the requirements to -10CFR2.790 to provide proprietary and non-proprietary versions specifically identifying the proprietary information contained in the submittal together with an affidavit within four weeks.
This letter provides the required information delineated by TXX-89097 in a total of three enclosures.
The first enclosure consists of one (1) copy of WCAP-12171, entitled
" Evaluation of Thermal Stratification of the Surge Line and RHR Lines for Comanche Peak Unit 1 - Presentation Overheads for February 21, 1989 TV Electric /NRC Meeting" (Proprietary).
The second enclosure consists of one (1) copy of WCAP-12172, entitled in
" Evaluation of Thermal Stratification of the Surge Line and RHR Lines for 48 Comanche Peak Unit 1 - Presentation Overheads for February 21, 1989 TV goa.
Electric /NRC meeting" (Non-Proprietary).
08 The third enclosure consists of a Westinghouse Application for Withholding, CAW-89-041, Accompanying Affidavit, and Proprietary Information Notice.
