DEFUELING Pick and niace defueling of partial length fuel assemblies cantinued.
Partial fuel assemblies F-9, G-7, G-9, H-3 and K-3 were loaded into defueling cariisters.
Fuel assembly }l-2 has been freed but not placed in a defueling canister. A total of 57 fuel assemblies nave been loaded into canisters.
Four canisters were transferred to the spent fuel pool.

ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sample analysis results show that TMI site liquid effluents are in accordance with regulatory limits, HRC requirements, and the City of Lancaster Agreement.
TMI intake water and water effluents from the station (Units 1 and
- 2) discharge are analyzed by EPA. Gamma spectrum analyses of the seven daily composited samples for July 4 - 11, 1987 indicated no reactor related activity.
EPA's gaiana spectrum analysis of the NRC's TMI outdoor air sample for July 16 - 22, 1987 showed no reactor related radioactivity.
The water works for the City of Lancaster composited seven daily semples from July 5 - 11, 1987.
EPA's gamma spectrum analysis of the composite sample showed no reactor related radioactivity.

DECONTAMINATION ACTIVITIES Decontamination efforts continue in the seal injection valve room.
The reactor coolant demineralized resin was sluiced to a spent resin storage tank for analysis in preparation for shipment to a disposal site.
