REVIEW OF CLINTON SAFETEAM CONCERN RESPONSE NO. 11923-A This memorandum forwards safeteam concern response No. 11923-A to j

Enclosed you will find the f ollowing information: - Copy of Safeteam concern response No. 11923 dated May 2, 1985 - Copy of draf t Safeteam concern response No. 12057-A dated May 24, 1985 - Copy of Safeteam concern interview data No. 11819, dated January 10, 1985 - Copy of Safeteam investigative file for concern,No. 11923 provided by the Director, Safeteam.cn June 3, 1985 The Clinton resident inspectors routinely review Safeteam concern responses, primarily to determine if wrongdoing was alleged.

Review of ' concern response No. 11923-A documented in Inspection Report 50-461/85021 (sinclosure 5 - excerpt from draf t inspection report), revealed that the matter involved a previously investigated allegation related to the Baldwin Associates (BA)

Document Review Group (DRG) (reference AMS No. RIII-84-A-0196);

the matter involved an alleged termination of a,qua11ty.

supervisor on acc'ount of actions taken by construction personnel (10CFR50, Appendix B, Criterion I - organizational 'f reedom); and the investigative file did not appear to fully support the ~

Safeteam response.
