Gentlemen:
Pursuant to 10CFR 2.201, Duke responded to the referenced violation and committed to revise the mechanical maintenance requalification training on Pressurizer Code Safety Valves. Subsequently, a decision has been made to purchase vendor training on these valves to satisfy this commitment. A celect group of technicians were trained by.Wylie Laboratories in Huntsville, Alabama, and will be the only technicians qualified to work on the subject valves until a continuing training module for the valves can be developed and implemented.
