The subject addendum is forwarded to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) as prescribed in the NRC approved August 1983 " Physical Security Plan, San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit,s 1, 2 and 3."
The temporary change presented in this addendum was discussed telephonically with NRC Region V Headquarters (P. Champion [SCE), and D. Schaefer (NRC-V]). A copy of this addendum has also been forwarded by this letter to the Regional Administrator, Ni<C Region V.
The temporary change presented in this addendum does not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of this plan. The addendum contains " Safeguards Information" and must be protected under 10 CFR 73.21.
