This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. A. Singh of.this office during:
the period February 13-17, 1989 of activities authorized by NRC Operating
. License NPF.-47 for the River Bend Station, and to the discussion of our
findings with the members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas. examined during the inspection included the implementation.of your-
' calibration program for those instruments which are not included in the Technical
Specifications and collection of information on the storage, handling, and the
quality assurance program for emergency. diesel generator fuel oli and on the
'high temperature conditions inside the containment drywell. Within these.
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the NRC
, inspector. The inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection
report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.
Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to
discuss them.with you.
