Subj ect: Catawba Nuclear Station Docket No. 50-413 and 50-414 Generic Letter 83-28 Gentlemen:
In Attachment 1 of my letter of December 31, 1984 concerning the same subject, I indicated Catawba personnel would be checking proper P-4 contact following every reactor trip (reference response to Data Letter 79-4).
Since l
implementing this inspection, no cases of improper P-4 contact have occurred.
i These-contacts are checked by procedure every other month on a train staggered basis for proper operation. Since our experience has shown proper P-4 contact i
