NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
?
Month: -September, 1987.
At-
'McGuire Unit 2 began the month of September operating at 100% full power.
~0907 on 9/01, the unit was reduced to 70% power following a trip of the "A" Feedwater-Pump. The unit returned to 100% power at 0500 on 9/02. At 1036 on
'9/06, the unit tripped off line due to a loss of DC power supply which closed the Turbine' Control. Valves. The unit returned to service at 2111 on 9/07, and returned to 100%,on 9/09 at 0100, after holding at 48% power to start the second At 1022 on 9/16, the' unit Feedwater Pump and at 82% per Dispatcher request.

instrumentation calibration and at 41% for containment air addition outside isolation valve work. On 9/30 at 0341, the unit was reduced to 98% power following a Heater Drain Pump trip. The unit returned to 100% power where it operated for the remainder of the month.
