On September 29,1987, Carolina Power & Light Company submitted a request for a license amendment for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit No. 2 to change the setpoint for the isolation of the Group i primary containment isolation valves from Low Level 2 to Low Level 3. These modifications are scheduled to be performed during the upcoming Unit 2 refueling outage currently scheduled to begin on January 2,1988. In order to support this outage modification and the subsequent core reload activity, approval of this amendment is requested by March 1,1988.
