During the period from July 9, 1987, to September 4, 1987, members of NRC
l
Region I staff conducted routine safety inspections at your facility. We
.
documented the results of that inspection in the enclosed report.
At the
conclusion of the inspection period, Mr. R. Conte of my staff summarized
1
the inspection findings with you and other members of your staff. We
identified no conditions adverse to nuclear safety and no violations of
regulatory requirements.
This also acknowledges receipt and the acceptability of your responses,
dated April 16, July 23, July 31, and August 25, 1987, to violations of
NRC requirements identified by our letters. dated March 18 and June 23,
1987 (NRC Inspection Report Nos. 50-289/87-06 and 87-09, respectively).
With respect to equipment and personnel performance problems in the
letdown prefilter room, we are satisfied with your planned corrective
action, assuming effective implementation of these measures.
All of the
identified violations, along with your responses, will be reviewed in a
future inspection.
