Dave Nelson's Performance Dave Nelson recently completed his service as a NRC resident inspector at McGuire Nuclear Station.

Dave is a real credit to his profession.

He is a tough regulator and an excellent watch dog and advocate of the American public but, he is also very much a caring human being in carrying out his duties.

He was never soft on the utility but very thorough and considerate in his communications.

Dave would always get station management on board early when he had a concern and was a very good listener to the other side of the story.

Concerns Dave brought to us, or violations he identified, were always well researched and based on good accurate information. He would consider all possible solutions and not just view an issue from a rigid enforcement perspective.

His style of regulation was very beneficial to the American public, the NRC and the utility.

Dave's professionalism is a credit to your organization.
