O INSTRUCTIONS-l On this form list the average daily unit power. level _ in MWe-Net for each l

day in the reporting month.. Compute to the nearest whole megawatt.

These figures will be used to plot a graph for each reporting month.

1 Note that when maximum dependable capacity is.used for the net electrical rating of the unit there may be occasions when the daily average power level exceeds.the 100% line (or the restricted power level line)..In such cases'the' average daily unit power output sheet'should be footnoted to explain the apparent anomaly.

Monthly Report for Braidwood Unit 1 A.

Summary of Operatina'Exoerience i

1 The unit entered.the month of September-in a shutdown mode while modifications to the. Auxiliary Feedwater System were.

completed.

The turbine was synchronized to the grid on

. September 5 and power was increased to approximately 200_

1 MHe. On September 9, the unit was shutdown from outside the Control Room in accordance with startup test BwSU RC-35. The turbine was again synchronized to the grid on September 16, however,.due to an Electro-Hydraulic Control System fluid leak,.on September 18 the turbine was taken I

l off line. The unit was re-synchronized'to the grid on September 19. An unplanned reactor trip took place on September 23 due to an inadvertent unit transformer deluge signal. An over excitation of the main power transformer caused a reactor trip on September 24 prior to re-synchronization. On September'26, the unit was synchronized to the grid and power was increased to 40%.

Power was increased to 49% on September 27 and remained at that level through the end of the month.
