River Bend Station - Unit 1 Refer to Region IV Docket No. 50-458 Pursuant to 10CFR50.54(p), please find enclosed four copies. (Nos. 8, 9, 10,and11)ofRevision 8 to the River Bend Station (RBS) Security Training and Qualification Plan (T&Q). Changes have been made to the T&Q Plan to reflect current activities of the RBS security program.

An explanation of these changes are enclosed to facilitate NRC review. The changes have been determined to net involve unresolved safety questions or decrease the effectiveness of the security program. Changes in the text are-indicated by side bars.

Revision 8 of the T&Q Plan, issued in total, supersedes all earlier revisions.

The T&Q Plan is considered " Safeguards Information" pursuant to 10CFR73.21 and should be handled accordingly.
