ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO.150 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. NPF-1, TROJAN NUCLEAR PLANT (TAC NO. 68144)

The Corsnission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.150 to Facility Operating.

License No. NPF-1 for the Trojan Nuclear Plant. The amendment consists of changes to the License in response to a letter on behalf of Pacific Power and Light Company dated May 9,1988 requesting consent.to transfer Facility Operating License No. NPF-1 (Trojan) from Pacific Power and Light Company to PC/UP&L Merging Corp.

The unendment revises the license for Trojan to reflect that Pacific Power and Light Company has merged with Utah Power and Light Company to become a new corporation, PacifiCorp, continuing to do business under the assumed business name of Pacific Power and Light Company.

By letter dated December 22, 1988, we sent to you a copy of the Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment and Proposed No Significant Hazards.

Consideration Determination and Opportunity for Hearing which was transmitted to the_ Federal Register for publication.

A copy of the NRC staff review of antitrust and financial considerations related' tothemergerisenclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Consnission s next regular biweekly Federal Register notice.
