Dear Dr. Melius:

INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT NO. 87-07, ENTITLED: " STUDY OF URINARY TRACT EFFECTS IN URANIUM PRODUCTION WORKERS" Pursuant to the authority contained in the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, ,

as amended, the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory .i Conmnission (NRC), and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) desire to enter into the interagency agreement described below.

I. Period of Performance <

1 The period of performance will be from the date this agreement is signed by both parties for two years.

II. Scope of Work NIOSH shall perform specific tasks in accordance with the enclosed study protocol.

III. Estimate of Cost and Obligation of Funds The total cost of this two year study is expected to be $50,000, and that I amount of FY 1987 funds is hereby obligated. For purposes of project  !

management and accounting control, this project should be identified by using the control numbers B&R No. 601904 and FIN D2017 on all correspondence vouchers.

l IV. To receive reimbursement under this agreement, NIOSH should forward to NRC an original and three copies of Standard Form 1081 in accordance with 1 the Treasury Fiscal Requirements Manual, Bulletin No. 78-09.  ;
