Two each Texas Nuclear Model 9256 Source holders. The instrument will be used for elemental analyses. The instrument head provides adeouate shielding for the contained radioactive source and no additional storage contain-er is necessary.
The carrying case provides additional protection for the instrument.
The device will be used throughout the States of Virginia and Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Permanent storace will be at Springfield, Virginia.

1 ADDENDA FOR MODEL 9200 SERIES Item 12:
"No additional personnel monitoring devices are required due to the presence of this instrument.
These source housing (s) are designed such that it is unlikely that any person, during normal usage can receive an exposure in excess of.0.125 rem per year, and the surface radiation levels are all less than 1 mR/hr."
Item 13:
" Adequate protection is provided by the shielding incorporated in the instrument and source holder.
The shutter will move into the " CLOSED" position at such times as the device is not in a measuring position. The instrument will be secured when not in use to prevent unauthorized access to the source."
Iten,14:
"The radioactive source (s) used in Model 9200 Series will be periodically leak tested at intervals not exceeding six months in accordance with Texas Nuclear Procedure QT/25. The AM-241 stabilizer source, if incorporated in this instrument, will not be leak tested. Maintenance and repair will be done by Texas Nuclear and we will follow Texas Nuclear protection procedures."
Item 15:
"No waste disposal is involved.
In the event that the instrument or source use is discontinued, the device will be returned to Texas Nuclear for removal of the radioactive materials."
