Dear Ms. Tracy:

At the "New England Town Meeting" presentation in Seabrook, N.41. on June 24,1987, you requested of Dr. Murley and myself the availability of certain general 1

drawings of Seabrook containment layout which you believed had been made available to other persons. At that time I indicated that what you appeared to require was already available in the Seabrook Station Final Safety Analysis Peport (FSAR),

a document which is available to the public through the Public Document Room in Washington, D.C. or the Local Public Document Room in Exeter, N.H. We agreed to pursue by telephone the next day the possibility of my sending copies of these containment drawings to you directly.

During telephone conversation on June 25, 1987, I agreed to provide to you copies of drawings available in Section 1.2 of the Seabrook FSAR, relative to the contain-ment layout and structure, eight of which are herein enclosed. We also discussed the availability of other drawings which I felt could be obtained from the FSAR.

It was agreed that you would pursue other avenues of FSAR availability (eg:

PDR, LPDR or interveners to the Seabrook licensing hearings) to obtain those additionci drawings. All such FSAR information has always been available to any member of the public.

I hope we have been responsive to your needs with respect to the requested containment drawings and also hope this information assists you in obtaining additional such public information in the future.
