This refers to the manag,ement meeting conducted at the Vogtle facility on July 1, 1987.
This meeting was held to discuss the construction status of Unit 2 and the Readiness Review Program.
A tour of the Unit 2 plant was conducted immediately following the meetir.g.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial and has provided additional information on the Vogtle Unit 2 construction status.
ihis in-depth presentation and the plant tour will better enable the NRC to further evaluate the' inspection program.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of NRC's " Rule of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code cf Federal Regulations, a coay of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document loom.
