The purpose of this letter is to withdraw the application for amendment to Facility Operating License No.
NPF-42 for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS), Unit No.
1 transmitted by the Reference.
The subject application i
for amendment was transmitted after NCCS received Facility Operating License l
No.
NPF-32 (Low-Power License),
but prior to the issuance of Facility Operating License No. NPF-42 (Full-Power License).
The referenced application for amendment proposed revising Technical Specifications 4.1.2.3.2 and 4.5.3.2 to allow two centrifugal charging pumps to be in operation for up to two hours provided the provisions of Technical l
Specification 3.4.9.3 are satisfied without reliance on ACTION Statements.
I Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) has decided not to pursue the proposed Technical Specification revision at this time.
l Therefore, WCNOC requests that the referenced application for amendment be withdrawn.
