INSPECTION OF THE EMERGENCY OPERATING PROCEDURES This letter is to formalize requests made in a telephone conversation between Mr. T. G. Broughton, of your staff, and myself on February 13, 1989, regarding a planned inspection of the Three Mile Island, Unit 1 Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) during the weeks of March 6 and March 13, 1989.
It is requested that the plant-reference simulator be made available for evaluation of the effectiveness of the E0Ps as part of the inspection.
Additionally, it is requested that copies of the E0Ps, the Procedures Generation Package, and the Owner's Group Emergency Response Guidelines be provided to the NRC prior to the inspection.
