Quad Cities Station Units 1 and 2 Application for Amendment to Facility Operating Licenses DPR-29 and DPR-30 NRC Docket Nos. 50-254 and 50-265
Dear Mr. Muller:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Commonwealth Edison proposes to amend Appendix A, Technical Specifications of Facility Operating Licenses, DPR-29 ond DPR-30.
The proposed amendment, made in accordance with Generic Letter 88-06,. requests changes to the Administrative Controls Section 6.0 to include the removal of the Organizational figures, a position change from Radiation Chemistry Technician to Radiation Protection Technician, several position title changes, a clarification to the distribution requirements for Onsite Reviews and typographical or editorial changes.
The revised Technical Specification pages are contained in Attachment A.
The description and summary of the proposed changes are presented in Attachment B.
The proposed changes have been reviewed and approved by both on-site and off-site review in accordance with Commonwealth Edison procedures.
Commonwealth Edison had reviewed the proposed amendment in accordance with 10 CFR 50.92(c) and has determined that no sigtJ ficant hazards consideration exists. This evaluation is documented in Attachment C.
Attachment D provides the safety evaluation and environmental assessment.
Commonwealth Edison is notifying the State of Illinois of our application for this amendment by transmitting a copy of this letter and its attachments to the designated State Official.
