SNM-1873, Amendment No. 6 SEP 3 01997 Tennessee Valley Authority ATTN: : Mr. R. Gridley, Director Nuclear-. Safety and Licensing SN 157B Lookout Place Chattanooga, TN 37401 Gentlemen:
- In accordance with your amendment application dated August 24, 1987, and pursuant to Title 10 . Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Materials License.
No. SNM-1873 is hereby amended to extend the expiration date of the license and to revise the calibration frequency of portable radiation survey and laboratory radiation instrumentation. Accordingly, August 24 I'987, is l incorporated into Condition 9 of the license and Condition 4 is revised to i read as follows:
- 4. September 30, 1992, or upon conversion of Construction Permit No.
- CPPR-92 to an operating license, whir.hever is earlier.
All other conditions of the license shall remain the same.
Enclosed is a copy of our Safety Evaluation Report.
