for a proposed amendment to the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Units 1 and
' 2, located in Southport, North Carolina. The proposed amendment would have deleted the requirement to perform temperature sensor response time testing on various switches and thermocouple listed in the Table 3.3.2-3 of the plant Technical Specifications. The Commission issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on February 26, 1987 (52 FR 5850). By letter dated November 2, 1988 licensee withdrew its application for the proposed amend:nent.
