January 19, 1987 letter from P.C. LeBlond to H.R. Denton Gentlemen:
The referenced letter outlined the human factors findings regarding Zion Station's Technical Support Center (TSC).
It also stated that resolution of these findings did not appear to be practical within the constraints of the existing TSC's size and committed to providing a construction schedule for a new TSC by July 1, 1987. This schedule is discussed below.
Enclosed with this letter is a copy of a report containing a description of the proposed TSC, implementation schedule, and 'otal cost estimate. This report contains the following estimated duration schedule; Engineering Award process: 4 Month 5, Engineering / Design duration: 9 Months Construction duration: '3 Months Total elapsed duration: 22 Months Commonwealth Edison Company will promptly advise the NRC Staff of any changes in these estimates.

We have prepared a description and Total Installed Cost Estimate for the
-Technical Support Center which you are evaluating for installation at Zion Station. A draft of our report and backup material is attached for your i
review and coment. We are prepared to assist you in your review and evaluation of this estimate, if you require further assistance.
I inferred from our telephone conversation of last week that we can anticipate receiving your comments within the next few days so that we will be able to issue the final Report before the end of June, 1987.
