RELATING TO ALTERNATE R0D INJECTION (ARI) AND l

RECIRCULATION PUMP TRIP (RPT) SYSTEMS Provide the following design information as supporting documentation of your method of compliance with 10 CFR 50.62:

1.

The electrical functional diagrams for the ARI and RPT systems from the sensors to the final actuated devices.

2.

The electrical one-line diagram to demonstrate the electrical indepen-dence between the ARI system and the reactor trip system (RTS), and the capability to perform ARI function during the loss-of-offsite power event.

3.

Describe the system design to permit maintenance repairs and test or calibration of the system logic while the plant is still in power operation.

4.

Describe the RPT transfer scheme from primary power supply' to low frequency motor generator (LFMG) power supply, and justify that the present RPT design can perform its function in a reliable manner equivalent to the Monticello design as referenced in the Owner's Group Topical Report.
