inspectors in the Comanche Peak-Project Division during the period

May 1 through June 4, 1987, of activities authorised by NRC

Construction Permits CPPR-126 and CPPR-127 for the-Comanche. Peak

SteAn Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, and to th~e respective

discussions of our findings with members of your staff during the

inspection period and'with Mr. L. D. Nace and other members of your

ataff_at the conclusion of the inspection.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined

during the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted

of selective examination of procedures and representative records,

' interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors,

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were

identified.

We have also examined actions you have taken with regard to

previously identified inspection findings. The status of these itens

is identified in paragraphs 3 and 4 of the enclosed report.
