Procedure. Generation Package' Preview Schedule Gentleman:
Toledo Edison's response dated April 20, 1987, (Serial 1368) to NRC Draft Safety Evaluation Report of the Davis-Besse Procedure Generation Package (PGP) detailed reviews that would be performed and' enhancements made to our Emergency Operating Procedures (E0P).
The actions es described in our April 20, 1987 submittal:are as follows:
Perform a comparison of the Davis-Besse E0P with the requirements of the B&W generated Technical Basis Document-(TBD).
Feview the Davis-Besse E0P with the revised Writers Guide.
Enhance instructions to operators on the use of hot leg RTDs and incore T/C when. determining subcooling margin.
Enhance instructions to operators on the use of hot and coldeg.
RTDs and incore T/Cs.fcr the determination of natural circu1L_ ion.
Evaluate the use of S/G drains and' Tube Rupture Control Criteria.to
~
maintain the S/G 1evel below the main steam line connection during --
tube rupture.
These actions were originally projected to be completed for~early-1988-revisions. :However, many plant modifications are being implemented at Davis-Besse during the upcoming fifth refueling outage (RF05) scheduled to begin in February 1988.
