This refers to the routine safety inspection of your whole body counting
facilities conducted by Mr. J. J. Kottan of this office on May 18-20, 1987 at
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Units 1, 2 and 3, Waterford, Connecticut, of
activities authorized by NRC 1.icense Nos. DPR-21, DPR-65 and NPF-49 and to the
-
discussions of our findings held by Mr. Kottan with Mr. J. Kangley and others
of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter
is appreciated.
