This is in final response to your letter dated August 2,1987, in which you appealed Mr. Donnie H. Grimsley's response dated July 16, 1967.
Mr. Grimsley's response denied records in whole or in part which were subject to your Freedom of Infonnation Act (F0IA) request for records - !
related to the concerns of an individual about the utility and S & W Technical Services regarding the Arkansas plant. This response addresses
, the three records listed on the enclosed appendix. By letter dated September 1,1987, Mr. Chilk responded separately concerning the additional denied records.
Acting on your appeal. I have carefully reviewed the record in this case, and have determined that the previously withheld infonnation should continue to be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to Exemptions (6) and (7)(A) of the FOIA (5 U.S.C. 552(b)(6) and (7)(A))
and 10 CFR 9.5(a)(6) and (7)(1) of the Connission's regulations. )
Your appeal is, therefore, denied. ;
Document one listed on the enclosed appendix is an investigatory record compiled for law enforcement purposes the release of which could reasonably be expected to interfere with an ongoing enforcement action. ;
Release of this information'could allow those being investigated to learn the scope, direction, and focus of investigatory efforts, and thus could possibly allow them to take action to shield potential wrongdoing or a violation of NRC requirements from investigators.

than the individual to whom your request pertains. I am unable to identify any legitimate public interest in this information in regard to your request which outweighs the privacy interests of the individual.
