Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure Revisions

Reference:

TVA letter submitted to NRC dated June 22, 2020, Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure Revisions.

As discussed in the referenced letter, it was identified that previous revisions of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant (SQN) Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures (EPIPs) have not been submitted to the NRC. Therefore, in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q) and 10 CFR 72.44(f), the Tennessee Valley Authority is submitting a description of changes to the SQN Radiological Emergency Plan. The EPIPs and revisions that were not submitted are listed in the table, below.

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 August 11, 2020 The above referenced revisions were evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q)(3) and 10 CFR 72.44(f) and determined that the changes did not reduce the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan. Details of the revisions are included in the enclosure.
