I approve the staff's pro 30 sed resolution of the NEI petition for rulemaking to revise 10 C R Part 70 and its proposed recommendation to proceed with-rulemaking.
Consistent with the final budget, the staff should submit for Commission approval a draft proposed rule by June 30, 1998.
The EDO should provide-necassary support services, including timely development of a regulatory 1mpact
. analysis, commensurate with the June 30, 1998-due date.
