By letters dated January 29,1998, and March 4,1998, Northeast Nuclear Energy Company
- instrumentation that monitors the reactor coolant system.(RCS) pressure and heat removal by the containment heat removal system at the Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 2.
- The NRC staff has completed its review of NNECO'S requests and determined that NNECO has provided adequate justification for the additional deviations from RG 1.97, Rev. 2. The enclosed -
Supplemental Safety Evaluation provides the details of the NRC staff's review.'

The NRC staff has completed its review of NNECO'S requests and determined that NNECO has provided adequate justification for the additional deviations from RG 1.97, Rev. 2. The enclosed Supplemental Safety Evaluation provides the details of the NRC staff's review.
