The enclosed Demand for Information is'being issued to you as a result of an NRC '

Einvestigation which concluded: 1) that you deliberately omitted certain criminal history information when you made applicatio_n to Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) in 1993 '

for unescorted access to the Fort Calhoun Station nuclear power' plant; and 2) that you

- made false statements to the NRC when you were questioned about this in August 1996.

Jhe NRC will use your response to this Demand for Information to determine whether -

enforcement action should be taken against you in accordance with the NRC's " General Statement of Policy and Procedure for Enforcement Actions," NUREG-1600. A copy of

. this document is enclosed.- Your attention is directed to Section VIII; Enforcement
