This is to advise that, as of April 1,1998, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation has Nuclear Property and Decontamination Insurance in place totaling $2,750 million as described below.
The primary property coverage of $500 million is provided by ANI/MAELU under policy number 97133. In the event of a common occurrence, there is an aggregate of $500,000,000 applicable.
This policy renews June 1,1998.
The.next $2,250 million of insurance coverage is provided by Nuclear Electric Insurance, Ltd.,
Excess Nuclear Property and Decontamination Liability coverage (combination of the former NEIL II and NEIL III coverage into one policy), under policy number X97-023. This policy renews November 15, 1998.
