1988, DOE submitted for NRC review and concurrence Modification
- OnOctober13,inalRemedialActionPlan(RAP)fortheUraniumHillTailingSite No. I to the F at Riverton, Wyoming. The NRC staff has completed its review and concurs in Modification No. 1 as revised by telefax dated November 1, 1988, which describes proposed procedures for excavation of Th.230 in the absence of Ra.226 at the Q Riverton processing site.
It should be noted, however, that the NRC's concurrence in Modification No. 1
.i to the RAP does not change the NRC overall conditional concurrence on the RAP itself. As you are aware, the NRC's concurrence on the RAP is conditional upon promulgation of the final EPA groundwater standards.
