SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-298/98-01
Dear Mr. Horn:
From January 25 through March 7,1998, a routine, announced inspection was conducted at
your Cooper Nuclear Station reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the scope and results
of thatinspection.
During the 6-week period covered by this inspection, activities at Cooper Nuclear Station were
generally conducted safely.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, its
enclosure, and your response will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to discuss them
