NRC letter from John N. Hannon to C. L. Terry dated April 10, 1998 Gentlemen:
In references 1 and 2, TU Electric stated that testing of Unit 1 Train A lockout relays and contacts was scheduled for completion by April 17, 1998 (Train B had already been tested).
It was also stated that certain Unit 2 contacts that perform a load shed function and other Unit 2 contacts that ensure that non emergency diesel generator trips do not trip a diesel generator operating in the emergency mode, would be tested at power by April 16, 1998.
The purpose of this letter is to confirm that the above Unit 1 and Unit 2 testing was successfully completed by the dates indicated.
