The staff should continue to evaluate the two methodologies in parallel and work with industry representatives on their respective pilot applications.
The issues raised in the FRN and o
the details of the two methodologies should be thoroughly discussed during the'public workshop.
The staff should also consider whether it-is-necessary and practical for licensees to-perform risk assessment on all pipes in the plant. for detennining the scope of the risk-informed inservice inspection program.
Th'e Commission intends to revisit the policy issuey itrherent in the draft documents in light of the expected substantial puBlic comments.
