This transmits the April.28 to June 10, 1987 routine ~ resident inspection findings
of Messrs. C. Holden and R. Freudenberger at the Maine Yankee-Atomic Power Plant,
Wiscasset,: Maine.
Those findings'were based on observations of activities, inter-

views,-and document reviews, and have.been discussed with Mr. Garrity of. your staff.
Within the. scope of thisl inspection, no violations were observed. We observed that
.your standards for plant cleanliness have been allowed to slip during the outage
and are concerned that this may affect the material condition of the facility.
We will review this area in upcoming inspections.
Your self identification and
. correction of Equipment Qualification deficiencies is considered to be a good
initiative.
