Dear Sir or Madam:
. North Carolina State University requests two modifications to the facility technical ,
specifications.
(1) The PULSTAR reactor site map shown in Figure TS 5.2-1 requires updating to reflect a recent street name' change on the Campus of North Carolina State University.
(2) The reference letter from Region II informs that all activities regarding non-power reactors are the responsibility of NRR effective on 4 August 1997. The PULSTAR reactor Technical Specifications are updated to reflect the NRC's administrativo change. Specifically, the following Technical Specification sub- -
sections are updated to remove references to Region II:
(a) Section 6.7.1 Reoortable Event (b) Section 6.7.2 Permanent Chanres in Facility Organization (c) Section 6.7.3 Chances Associated with the Safety Analysis Reoort I (d)- .Section 6.7.4 Annual Ooeratine Report ,
