On . February 16-20, March 2-6, March 16-20, and April . 13-17, 1987, an NRC. team-
-
led by Mr. W. K. Poertner conducted .a special announced inspection of activi-
ties authorize'd by NRC Operating License Nos. DPR-77 and DPR-79 for your
Sequoyah facility. . At the. conclusion of the inspection, the findings were
discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed inspec-
. tion report.
-Areas examined during . the -inspection are identified ' in the report.
The-
inspection consisted of selective examination of Employee Concern Task Group.
(ECTG) Element Reports for Sequoyah, procedures and representative records,
and interviews with personnel.
Within the scope of the inspection, no
violations or deviations were' identified.
The 1nspection . encompassed the review an'd evaluation of 38 Sequoyah final
Element Reports issued to the NRC by the TVA.
In accordance' with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its
