OMB APPROVAL FOR RECORDKEEPING RULE OMB has approved the information collections contained in the final rule, " Termination or Transfer of Licensed Activities: Recordkeeping Requirements," for 10 CFR Parts 30,40,70, and 72. It has not yet approved the collections in Part 61. I talked with the Desk Officer, OMB, I about the status of the Part 61 approval. It appears that in their process of logging the rule in, I the Part 61 portion of the rule got separated from the rest of the package and was logged in two weeks later. OMP therefore believes that they have an additional two weeks to make a decision on this part. However, under the circumstances, the Desk Officer has agreed to review this part immediately. I will 16: you know when we receive approval so that you can 1 publish the final rule. Paper copies of the approvals for Parts 40,70, and 72 are being sent to you. (Part 30 approval has already been forwarded.)
