EXTENSION REQUESI FOR WITS #94-122 A final rulemaking on the records retention rule (previously published for public connent), is intended to address Chairman Selin's commitment to ensure that NRC has access to records of terminated licenses. We have had difficulties in resolving some significant public comments and still need to
't obtain office concurrence on the final rule package before forwarding it to you. We anticipate sending the package out for office concurrence this week ar.d will have the final rule package ready to go to the EDO by December 1, 1995.
