EMERGENCY PLAN CHANGES
Dear Mr. Hutchinson:
This letter acknowledges receipt of your htter dated February 16,1998, which transmitted Emergency Plan implementing Procedure 00-1903.010, " Emergency Action Level Classification," Revision 34, submitted uncar the provisions of 10 CFR 50.4 and 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E.,Section V.
During a phone call on May 12,1998, Mr. Randy Gresham confirmed that your review determined that the changes did not reduce the effectiveness of the emergency plan. Based on your determinations that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan, and that the plan, as changed, continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to Part 50, NRC approvalis not required. Our initial review of these changes indicates that the changes are in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q). Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of your emergency plan and continue to meet regulatory requirements.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
